I am Ruth Tauber, a native English copywriter based in Stockholm with a solid track record of creating effective communication over nearly two decades. I have created forecast-smashing campaigns for Oriflame, written for Happy Socks and Eton, and built a brand from the ground at Moniack Mhor.  I love collaborating to make your marketing really fly, whatever stage your business is at.

The backstory

A little about me

Originally from North East Scotland, I was educated in Scottish Language and Literature at Glasgow University.  

When it comes to English, I am the ultimate word nerd. I have a deep understanding of how to make language work in different contexts, rooted in my education and experience. My success comes from adapting my words to mirror how people actually communicate, whether on social media, in person, or when launching a new product to market. I am fluent in Swedish and was once fluent in Spanish. In 2015 I attended Forward/Story in Costa Rica, an invite-only lab for storytellers working in unchartered territories. In 2008 I was awarded a Peter Kirk Travel Scholarship to examine the notion of duende in Flamenco culture and contemporary art in Spain. 

My background in the arts means I take a holistic approach to communication. I worked with some of Scotland’s best artists at Kilmorack Gallery, Post-War and Urban Art Prints, with dance theatre at Plan B Collaborative Theatre, and with some of the world’s finest writers at Moniack Mhor.
